The Cordillera Blanca mountain range
The Cordillera Blanca is a spectacular mountain range, situated in the Ancash Region of Peru – being part of the escort beylikdüzü larger mountain range famously known as the Andes. How to organize cheap biking tours near Huaraz
The easiest biking tour to organize on your own, without spending too much money is the tour from Huaraz – Abra Punta Callan – Huaraz. The trip will take you around 4 hours and is a very easy road, only downhill.
First: You need to rent a bike.
Second: You need to catch the bus or taxi which go towards Casma. The bus stop is very close beylikdüzü escort bayan to the center. I recommend that you depart very early in the morning and catch a very cheap local bus (which has space on the roof for bikes). If you leave at 8:30 AM or later, you will struggle to find cheap public transport, so your only option will be to hire a taxi for around 25-30 Soles. There is only one thing that is unpleasant during the trip – the unfriendly dogs you have to pass as you get close to Huaraz. I only saw them in one or two places, but they can cause some problems. You need to be prepared deal with up to 8 dogs at a time. You best option is to pedal through this zone as quick as possible!
Alternative option
If you do not want to spend any money, you can go to Abra Punta Callan by bus or by taxi and come back to Huaraz on foot. There are a lot of small trails around, so you can choose one of them and walk down towards the town. During these hours of trekking, you will have plenty of time to enjoy some very nice views.
Both of the aforementioned options are recommended for acclimatization. A lot of tourists come to Huaraz to trek and often forget about the altitude. They then usually go to Laguna 69 or start the Santa Cruz trek, and suffer. I highly recommend that you stay in Huaraz for at least 2 days and do some easier trips before going to higher parts of the mountains.
