Laguna Rapagna is located at kilometer 103 of the Central Highway, in Huarochirí at 4500 meters above sea level. To access the lagoon you must leave from Chosica to San Mateo de Huanchor towards the broken Cup (White River). The hike contains both simple and difficult parts. It is a mixture of slopes, ravines, vegetation that at the end flows into the Lagoon.
We will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel and bring you to Rio Blanco (3500 meters), where the ascent begins. The tour ends in the Laguna Rapagna (4500 meters). The road runs between the ravines Copa and Chueco. On average the climb can take four hours and the descent two and a half hours. It is an ideal place for acclimatization and preparation for future hikes of greater physical effort and of greater height.
In the evening we will bring you to the cozy local restaurant where you can enjoy peruvian food. Later we will return back to Lima.
It is important not to have problems with the altitude and to have good physical resistance. This tour can be done in 2 days starting from Lima. If you dare to go, you will enjoy it very much.
