Day 1 - Huaraz – Cuartelhuain – Mitucocha
Your adventure begins before sunrise, as we pick you up at your hotel in Huaraz and head toward the highlands, watching the sleepy valleys come to life with the first light. Our journey winds through ever-changing landscapes until we reach Chiquián (3,400 m), a quiet mountain town where you can grab some last-minute essentials and breathe in the crisp Andean air.
By midday, we arrive in Cuartelhuain (4,180 m), the real starting point of your trek. From here, we ascend gradually to the majestic Cacananpunta Pass (4,700 m), where breathtaking views unfold in every direction, rolling valleys, towering peaks, and infinite skies. It’s the kind of silence that speaks to the soul.
After a scenic descent, we stop for a well-earned lunch surrounded by vast open space and pure stillness. Our path then leads to Mitucocha camp, nestled at the foot of sharp mountains and open skies. If energy allows, a short hike to Lake Mitucocha awaits its glassy waters reflecting the peaks and the quiet rhythm of grazing cows.

Day 2 - Mitucocha – Carhuac Viewpoint – Carhuacocha
Day two welcomes you with gentler paths but views that are anything but ordinary. As you make your way toward Carhuac Pass (4,650 m), each step brings you closer to a view that will stop you in your tracks. From the viewpoint, the mighty Yerupajá (6,617 m) and the legendary Siula Grande (6,344 m) rise like ancient guardians of the Andes, silent, majestic, unforgettable.
It’s not just a view it’s a moment. One of those rare times when nature feels sacred.
From there, we descend slowly, surrounded by silence and open skies, until we reach the serene Lake Carhuacocha. Tucked at the foot of towering peaks, this campsite is a postcard come to life. The mountains reflect perfectly on the still, turquoise waters as the sun sets—an ideal place to rest, eat, and just be.
This is the kind of night that makes the whole journey worth it.

Day 3 - Carhuacocha – Tres Lagunas – Siula Pass – Camp Huayhuash

We hike past three dazzling lagoons and a turquoise river, leading us to the most iconic viewpoint of the trek—where the mountains stand tall behind the shimmering lakes, offering postcard-perfect views.
The ascent continues to Siula Pass, where 360° panoramas demand your attention—and your camera. After a scenic lunch with the Andes all around, we descend to Camp Huayhuash (4,330 m) to rest and relive the day’s unforgettable moments.

Day 4 - Huayhuash – Trapecio Pass – Elephant Camp
After breakfast, we begin our climb toward the stunning Trapecio Pass—where glaciers and jagged peaks stretch across the horizon like a natural skyline. It’s a breathtaking moment of stillness, with the option for a short glacier walk if adventure calls.
Then, we descend through wild, rocky valleys until reaching the peaceful shores of Lake Cuyoc. Our final stop is the vast ‘Elephant Camp,’ where the silence of the surrounding mountains sets the tone for a restful evening.

Day 5 - Elephant Camp – San Antonio Hill – Huayllapa Village
We kick off the day with a steep but rewarding hike to San Antonio Pass, where one of the finest panoramic views of the Huayhuash range awaits—glacial peaks, vibrant lagoons, and pure silence.
After soaking in the beauty, we descend back into Huanacpatay Valley, where the trail becomes gentler and nature transforms. Lush greenery, waterfalls, birdsong, and butterflies guide us toward the small village of Huayllapa—perfect for a quick recharge.
From there, a final stretch through a narrow valley brings us to the peaceful, grass-covered Hepatica Camp for the night.

Day 6 - Huayllapa – Tapush Pass – Gaspa Camp

At the top, we pause to rest and take it all in then descend through a peaceful valley, where shimmering lagoons reflect the peaks like living paintings.
Our camp for the night offers deep silence and open skies—the perfect setting to read, reflect, or simply breathe before tomorrow’s grand finale.

Day 7 - Gaspa Camp – Yaucha Pass – Jahuacocha
We start early, heading toward Yaucha Pass as golden light spills over the hills. The ascent is steady, and the reward is immense at the top, the Huayhuash range unveils its masterpiece: Yerupajá and its towering siblings in perfect alignment.
With luck, condors soar overhead as we continue along a ridge offering non-stop views. Soon, Lake Jahuacocha appears below, framed by the striking Jirishanca peak.
After a scenic break, we descend to our lakeside camp where the views are endless, and time slows down. The afternoon is yours: hike, swim, or help catch dinner with our chef. Nature’s beauty wraps around everything here.

Day 8 - Jahuacocha – Llamac Pass – Huaraz

From here, it’s all downhil back to the village of Llamac, where our return to civilization begins. As we descend, the journey replays in our minds like a beautiful dream.
Our private transport awaits to take us back to Huaraz, but we carry more than backpacks now we return soaring in spirit, forever transformed by the Andes.
